When the Saints Go Marching In

From September 11-18, participating bars and clubs throughout New York City have agreed to donate portions of their sales to the American Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund. Visit for details.

Jacques-Imo Benefit

Wednesday, September 14, 7pm. The New York City location of New Orleans’s famous restaurant will be holding a benefit event. Tickets are $30 in advance and $40 at the door. Includes food, open bar, entertainment and an auction. All proceeds will go to the relief effort in New Orleans. 212-799-0150

Terence Blanchard Hurricane Relief Benefit Concert

Sunday September 18, 9:30 pm. Grammy Award winner and New Orleans native Terence Blanchard is easily one of the best trumpeters jazz has ever known. A portion of proceeds from this concert benefit the Recording Academy’s MusiCares Foundation, which provides a safety net of critical services for music people in crisis. $20.

New Chefs for a “New”
New Orleans

Tuesday, October 11, 7-9pm New Chefs for a “New” New Orleans will showcase next generation talent including NYC Chefs Galen Zamarra of Mas and Sue Torres of Sueños and New Orleans Chefs Bob Iacovone of Cuvée and Chuck Subra of La Côte Brasserie. Chefs will design signature inspired New Orleans fare. In addition to the signature fare, beverages, and entertainment, there will be a silent auction.

All event proceeds will benefit New Orleans tourism efforts through the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau. $175 per person.
